What is TALOS: our modular and flexible solution for the future of manufacturing

TALOS, short for Transformable Adaptive Lines Optimised System, is a technology specifically developed to help industries cope with high-variety, low-volume production.

TALOS transforms traditional assembly lines into modular and dynamic systems, composed of mobile workbenches moved by a fleet of Helko Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) managed by a Mission Manager with Artificial Intelligence.

With TALOS, companies can:

• Quickly adapt to changes and reconfigure lines to handle fragmented batches and frequent production variations.
• Optimise resources thanks to AI algorithms that plan processes, movements and logistical flows according to the orders to be produced.
• Improve the workers’ well-being by avoiding work overloads and increasing ergonomics.

Developed in collaboration with Elif Lab, TALOS project won the 2nd European Open Call EARASHI.
