Digital Procedures Management System

Digital, guided and configurable management of operational procedures.

Digitise, execute and monitor every procedure from the first to the last step

Our Digital Procedures Management System is designed to digitise company operating and Quality Control procedures, automate their execution, and ensure precise control over every stage of the process, while respecting each customer’s specific production requirements.

We don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach: every project is a fully customised software solution, developed after an in-depth analysis of company processes – from data collection in the field to operations management. The result is software that fits perfectly into the customer’s production environment, integrating with existing systems and evolving alongside processes over time.

At the core of the Digital Procedures Management System is Ignition® – one of the most advanced and widely adopted global platforms for developing SCADA-HMI, MES, MOM and IIoT solutions.

Creation of dynamic guided procedures

with operation chains that automatically adapt to the order and operational requirements.

Interoperability with existing systems

such as ERP, MES and other third-party business software.

Ability to attach documents

such as photos or work instructions, to operations, tasks and procedures.

Advanced timing management

and deadlines, with operations triggered based on specific parameters such as time, status or the outcome of other operations.

Custom alerts for every stage of the process

to notify users of upcoming deadlines, negative results or other critical situations, via the system and by email.

Operation management by user authority level

to ensure that each operation is validated only by authorised personnel.

Traceability of all user-made changes:

every change to operations and procedures is recorded and logged.

Ignition® is a development platform designed to create advanced industrial applications in a modular and highly customisable way. In our Digital Procedures Management System, it provides the technological infrastructure on which we build solutions capable of digitising operational procedures, guiding their execution and ensuring real-time control.

Its architecture, inherently designed for integration, enables the connection of IT and OT systems and the smooth orchestration of workflows between operators, plants and machinery, transforming fragmented processes into complete, trackable digital workflows.

Ignition is used in over 100 countries by major industrial players – not for brand recognition, but for its proven reliability in critical environments, the robustness of its infrastructure and its ability to adapt to dynamic and complex production contexts.

A flexible solution, built on Ignition

All functionalities are developed on Ignition – a robust, modular platform designed for industrial applications. This allows every procedure to be digitally modelled with maximum flexibility, making field operations guided and interactive.

Truly tailor-made customisation

As a development platform, Ignition enables the creation of fully customised solutions, perfectly aligned with the company’s needs.

Native integration with plants and business systems

The system communicates directly with company devices, plants and databases. It is possible to integrate ERP, MES, HMI, SCADA, PLC, and more via native drivers, REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, and SQL.

Advanced OPERATION configuration

Every stage of every procedure is fully customisable – from timing to permissions, from required data fields to attached documents.

Access control by authority level

Assign a minimum authorisation level required to confirm the operation.

Customisable alerts for critical events

Set up automatic notifications for events such as deadlines, errors or process anomalies.

Complete traceability of changes

Every modification made is recorded to ensure maximum transparency and auditability.

Integrated document management

Attach PDFs, images and technical manuals directly to the operation.

Automatic retrieval from external databases

Link operation data to ERP tables for automatic value population (e.g. item or order).

Advanced timing

Set complex activation conditions, supporting specific schedules, delays and deadlines.

Parent-child hierarchical structure

Connect multiple operations in a logical sequence based on the results obtained.

Structured management of TASKS

Organise operations in a logical sequence and define conditions, roles and behaviours with maximum flexibility.

Tasks determine the order of operations to be performed: it is possible to configure simple logical chains or complex conditional dependencies.

Task assignment by line, zone and scope

Each task can be precisely assigned to a production line, a specific area and a production scope (WP).

Centralised management of PROCEDURES

Orders, recurring tasks and scheduled checks: all under control within a single interface.

Procedures linked to an order

Associated with specific items or production jobs.

Scheduled procedures

Programmed according to the calendar or set intervals (e.g. maintenance and periodic inspections).

Assignment to specific items

Order-based procedures can be linked to one or more items. When an order containing that item is launched, the procedure is automatically connected and made available.

Quick ORDER–PROCEDURE association

Each production order can be automatically or manually paired with an operational procedure.

Procedures with operations linked to specific events

It is possible to configure operations that activate only upon certain events, such as errors, anomalies or the outcome of a previous phase.

Interactive procedure preview

Before starting a procedure, you can view a complete preview that sequentially displays all included operations and tasks, along with their details.

The preview allows you to:

  • quickly validate the procedure’s content before execution;
  • verify the correct configuration of operations, timing and dependencies;
  • identify any external parameters that still need to be filled in.

TASK management

Search, filter, act: everything under control in a single view.

Real-time task list

See the up-to-date status of all tasks: confirmed and pending, started, completed, expired, suspended.

Scheduled or order-based

Quickly filter and view tasks linked to production orders or those planned periodically.

Start with one click

Any task ready for execution can be launched directly from this screen, respecting user permissions.

OPERATOR interface

The right instruction at the right time.

Step-by-step guidance

Each procedure is carried out as a guided path. The operator sees only the tasks and operations relevant at that moment, following the configured sequence.

Instructions always available

Attached documents, images and notes can be accessed directly from the operational screen.

Timing and deadlines under control

Each operation can have:

  • a defined time for completion;
  • a deadline, after which it is marked as "not performed".
  • Conditional responses and dynamic flow

    Operations can trigger new tasks based on the selected outcome (e.g. if “Non-compliant”, activate an additional action or check).
    This enables the creation of adaptive, non-rigid procedures.

    Role-based control

    Only users with the required authorisation level can perform or validate specific operations.

    Results consultation and automatic REPORTING

    Generate a detailed PDF report with all procedure data, ready for review, sharing, or archiving.

    Production-focused

    The report also includes data from the production order (item code, quantity, machine, line, etc.) linked to the procedure.

    Custom PDF report

    The system allows generation of a comprehensive PDF document containing:

  • procedure data;
  • outcomes of all operations;
  • users involved;
  • execution times;
  • any deadlines or critical issues.
  • Complete traceability

    All information included in the PDF is tracked within the system: every change, every user, every stage has its own log.
