Overcome the limits of traditional robotic programming with CAM-robot
There is no need to write robot toolpaths manually or redo the setup of a CNC machine for each new machining operation.
With the CAM-robot, all this is automated in a few simple steps: the robot directly interprets DXF files in real time to perform machining and finishing operations on ever-changing surfaces.
When the application requires linear and repetitive movements across large, regular working surfaces, the same simplification approach can also be applied to a Cartesian robot, ensuring even greater speed and process continuity on the typical geometries of panels and flat components.

With this innovative Smart Manufacturing solution, designed to adapt easily to new path configurations and machining requirements, Eureka System delivers a flexible and complete robotic system:
- Anthropomorphic industrial robot used as a machining centre, ideal for complex surfaces and variable geometries;
- Cartesian robot for applications on flat surfaces and linear paths, perfect when maximum simplicity and repeatability are required;
- G-code interpretation software (DIN 66025 standard) with automatic path generation from DXF;
- User-friendly interface, directly manageable by the operator on the shop floor.

EVERYTHING IN JUST A FEW STEPS
Import your customised CAD-designed machining path
Automatically convert your DXF file into a toolpath that follows the geometry of the part to be produced
Manage specific parameters: tool start/stop, machining speed, offsets, dimensions, etc.
Automatically generate the robot programme from the G-code
Simulate and check the robot programme for any errors directly within the software
Easily run, edit, store, delete and recall machining paths, emulating a CNC machine but with significantly greater flexibility
CAM-Robot
Anthropomorphic robots as CNC machining centres
CAM-Robot is an innovative robotic solution that transforms anthropomorphic industrial robots into true dynamic CNC machining centres. Thanks to software developed by Eureka System, the robot can directly interpret CAD technical drawings (.DXF), automatically generating robotic paths to perform complex machining operations without requiring advanced manual programming.
This highly specialised robotic solution was conceived and developed by Eureka System using a COMAU anthropomorphic robotic arm as the hardware base, equipped with a KEBA controller. The KEBA system manages safety functions, motion control and the robot’s logic across all its different operations, making this complex automation process possible.
The robotic arm has a structure similar to a human arm, with 6 or more degrees of freedom, allowing articulated movements. It can move freely in three-dimensional space to reach difficult angles or irregular surfaces, such as:
- multi-level surfaces and discontinuities,
- parts with complex, non-linear shapes,
- small batches with different sizes and geometries,
- custom production and bespoke variations.
With the CAM-Robot solution, setup times between one part and the next are significantly reduced. There is no longer any need to manually write robotic paths or repeatedly set up and configure a CNC machine for each machining operation: with CAM-Robot, it is enough to import the .DXF file for the part to be processed and, in just a few steps, the robot will execute the new machining path.

Cartesian Robot
Precision and simplicity for flat surfaces
For applications that require processing on flat parts and surfaces, such as the GASKET LP systems developed for Europoliuretani, a 3-axis Cartesian robot version is available. This is a robust and accurate robotic solution, particularly suitable when the surfaces to be processed are large and regular.
The Cartesian robot moves along three linear axes and is controlled by a PLC, with programming based on Cartesian coordinates.
The robot is managed by a PLC that sends signals to the motors to move the axes according to the set coordinates. The operator simply places the panel within the working area and aligns it with the reference point (“zero point”); the system automatically detects the dimensions and, once started, carries out the machining operation.
Motion accuracy ensures a continuous and uniform final result, even along complex trajectories, provided they are on flat or regular surfaces. The Cartesian robot’s smooth movements also deliver improved performance on curves.
This configuration is ideal for applications in the electrical industry, industrial filtration, HVAC and in all cases where the surface geometry is mainly flat or regular.
